ASSCAT Reaffirms Commitment to National Standards in CHED Engagement

On February 18, 2026, ASSCAT President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano met with Dr. Lora L. Yusi, Director of the Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance (OIQAG), and Myrna Q. Mallari, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education(CHED), at the CHED Central Office.

The meeting centered on ASSCAT’s continuing compliance with university requirements and its alignment with national quality assurance standards. Beyond fulfilling regulatory processes, the engagement reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to strengthening governance, enhancing academic quality, and ensuring that its systems and programs remain responsive to the needs of its stakeholders.
