BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR — Seventeen new personnel have joined Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU), adding to the workforce responsible for delivering instruction, research, administrative support, and other essential services to the University community.

The newly hired personnel formally took their Oath of Office today at the Administration Building Lobby, beginning their service in various academic, administrative, research, and support positions across the University.

Their appointments come as ADSSU continues to expand its programs and services. For students and other members of the University community, the addition of personnel means more people taking on specific functions that support teaching and learning, research work, records and administrative services, accounting, supply and logistics, and other day-to-day operations of the institution.

The new personnel are Eugene S. Abuloc, Associate Professor II; Hannah Stephanie T. Agad, Administrative Officer I (Records Officer I); Anthony C. Baral, Administrative Officer III (Supply Officer II); May Gia F. Beronio, Administrative Aide III (Clerk I); Michel B. Bolo, Instructor I; Ronald Cesar C. Bustillo, Administrative Aide IV (Clerk II); Ricmar T. Claro, Administrative Aide III (Driver I); Justene O. Dela Peña, Administrative Aide VI (Clerk III); Felixberto Dominic B. Eruela, Instructor I; Maria Lyka A. Ganzan, Instructor I; Juliet M. Iman, Instructor II; Sigfred B. Jorge, Assistant Professor IV; Mary Ayn M. Lagarto, Accountant II; Michael Jhon F. Minglana, Assistant Professor II; Brix Lorence A. Sanoria, Administrative Aide VI (Clerk III); Jerem I. Syting, Instructor III; and Emellody Joyce L. Wacay, University Research Associate II.

University President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano welcomed the new personnel and underscored the significance of the roles they are taking on as members of the University workforce.

Representing the new personnel, Eugene S. Abuloc, RGC, Associate Professor II, delivered a response message.

Dr. Ferdinand A. Dumalagan, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Development, and Extension (RIDE); Dr. Carmelo S. Llanto, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance (AAQA); and Ruth S. Desamparo, Supervising Administrative Officer, also shared messages on the responsibilities that come with public service and the importance of carrying out one’s duties with commitment and accountability.

The new appointments also form part of the continuing growth of ADSSU’s workforce as the University carries out its mandate to provide accessible and quality higher education, pursue research and innovation, and extend its services to communities.

The oath-taking was held as ADSSU joins the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) this September, with this year’s theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.”

For ADSSU, welcoming new personnel is ultimately about adding capacity to the work that reaches beyond the University’s offices and classrooms—from the quality of instruction students receive to the services and programs that connect the institution with the communities it serves.
