The Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), through the Supreme Student Government, successfully celebrated Students’ Day as part of the institution’s 31st Paghimugso celebration, bringing together students in a vibrant showcase of creativity, talent, and unity.

The day-long celebration featured a wide range of student-centered activities that energized the campus community, including E-Games, cosplay, cheer dance and K-pop dance competitions, Tawag ng Tanghalan, Amazing Race, film parody, and Battle of the Bands, recognizing the diverse interests and talents of ASSCATians.

The highlight of the celebration was the much-anticipated Bahagi Queen Universe 2026, a pageant that celebrated confidence, creativity, and authentic self-expression. The event served as a meaningful platform that embraced diversity, providing students with a welcoming space to showcase their identity and artistry in an atmosphere of acceptance and strong community support.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the celebration advanced Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) by promoting inclusive participation, creativity, and holistic student development.

As ASSCAT celebrates its 31st Paghimugso, Students’ Day 2026 highlights the institution’s commitment to empowering students while fostering unity and campus pride.
