The Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU) formally welcomed newly hired faculty and staff through an oath-taking ceremony held today at the Administration Building Lobby, marking another step in strengthening its academic and administrative workforce.

The ceremony was administered by University President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, together with Vice President for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance Dr. Carmelo S. Llanto, Supervising Administrative Officer Ruth S. Desamparo, and the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO). The event marked the official assumption of duties of the personnel, signifying their commitment to uphold the values of excellence, integrity, and public service.

In her message, President Capistrano highlighted the importance of leadership, service, and being a positive influence both within the institution and in the wider community. She also emphasized the role of open communication, excellence, and consistency in fostering a strong and collaborative work environment, encouraging personnel to embody these principles in their daily responsibilities.

The oath-taking ceremony reflects ADSSU’s continued efforts to strengthen its workforce as it transitions into a university, ensuring it is equipped to meet expanding academic, research, and public service responsibilities.
