Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU) convened today with the Ad Hoc Committee in preparation for the upcoming Palarong Pambansa 2026, to be hosted by the Province of Agusan del Sur.

The coordination meeting was attended by the University’s top management, headed by University President Joy C. Capistrano, alongside the Vice Presidents, and representatives from concerned offices and committee members.

Key discussions focused on coordination, facility readiness, and ongoing enhancement initiatives within the University. ADSSU is set to serve as the official venue for Artistic Gymnastics and will also accommodate Officiating Officials from May 18–22, 2026, ahead of the national games on May 24–29, 2026.

Beyond the immediate requirements of the Palarong Pambansa, these initiatives form part of ADSSU’s broader commitment to continuous campus development—aligned with its recent transition into a State University. Infrastructure upgrades and facility improvements are being undertaken not only to support national events, but also to enhance the overall learning environment in time for the upcoming Commencement Exercises and the opening of the new academic year.
