BUNAWAN, Agusan del Sur — Following the opening of the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics competition yesterday, the spotlight now shifts to the women as the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) competition officially began today at the ADSSU Sports and Socio-Cultural Center for the Palarong Pambansa 2026.

Grace, strength, flexibility, and precision took center stage as young gymnasts from different regions across the country showcased their talent and discipline in one of the most anticipated events of the national games. The opening of the competition marked the continuation of the gymnastics events in this year’s Palarong Pambansa.

Competing athletes demonstrated their skills through various apparatus including the vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise — each requiring a unique combination of control, artistry, power, and technique. Every routine highlighted the years of preparation and training dedicated by the athletes in pursuit of excellence on the national stage.

The competition floor came alive as gymnasts executed flips, leaps, aerial routines, and carefully synchronized movements before coaches, technical officials, and spectators who filled the venue with excitement and support.

As the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics competition continues in the coming days, athletes are expected to further raise the level of competition through performances that reflect determination, discipline, and sportsmanship.
