The Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU) officially opened its celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary today, August 27, at the ADSSU Sport and Socio-Cultural Center, bringing together faculty and staff in a celebration of public service, unity, and dedication to the Filipino people.
With this year’s theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” the celebration puts the spotlight on the people behind public service and the values they bring to their work. It recognizes the commitment of government employees who, through their daily responsibilities, help create meaningful outcomes for the institutions and communities they serve.
The celebration opened with a lively Zumba session, bringing faculty and staff together in an atmosphere of wellness and camaraderie. This spirit of fellowship will continue throughout the celebration until September 28, 2026, with various activities prepared to engage employees and honor their contributions to public service.
As ADSSU joins the nationwide celebration, the occasion serves as a reminder of the shared commitment to serve with puso, dangal, at galing, embodying the spirit of a Lingkod Bayani in service to the University, the community, and the nation
