In celebration of the 2026 National Innovation Day, our faculty innovators took part in LUNSAD: AI for Growth, Opportunity, and Sustainability in ASEAN led by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), showcasing practical solutions shaped by real community needs.

In the Professional Category, faculty members Jamel Pandiin and Jesryl Janopol presented innovations focused on strengthening emergency response systems and advancing sustainable resource management. Their work reflects applied innovation that responds to everyday challenges faced by communities. Notably, Jesryl Janopol earned 1st Place in the Circular Economy category for the FedSiklo waste-to-feed system.

In the Student Category, Hewer Magadan and Luisito Sedillo Jr. shared ideas on disaster preparedness and mobility solutions, contributing fresh perspectives to pressing local concerns.

These initiatives highlight the University’s continuing commitment to research and innovation that create meaningful, practical impact—particularly in Disaster Risk Reduction and Circular Economy.
