“𝗧𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵.”

Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) observed Bible Month at the ASSCAT Sports and Socio-Cultural Center following the regular Monday flag-raising ceremony, with faculty members, staff, and students in attendance.

The activity highlighted the importance of the Word of God as a guide in daily life, especially in the midst of academic responsibilities and personal challenges. Bible Month serves as a time for reflection, encouraging the ASSCAT community to pause, listen, and draw strength and direction from Scripture.

The gathering was attended by Vice President for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance Dr. Carmelo S. Llanto and Supervising Administrative Officer Ruth S. Desamparo, alongside college deans, directors, and unit heads.

The program opened with praise and worship, then a talk from Pastor Rox Osano, who shared how the Word of God brings change and clarity in a person’s life. Citing Hebrews 4:12, he reminded the audience that God’s Word is living and active, able to shape thoughts, actions, and decisions.

Through the Bible Month celebration, ASSCAT continues to recognize the role of faith in strengthening character and fostering a community guided by purpose, responsibility, and service.
