The Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) formally received one (1) unit bus from the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) during a turnover ceremony today, marking the official transfer of the government property to the College.

The unit, a Hino Bus (FG1JPUZ), 6-cylinder, diesel-fueled vehicle, was transferred from the Office of the Solicitor General to ASSCAT in accordance with established government property transfer procedures. The bus is now officially recorded as part of ASSCAT’s institutional assets, following proper documentation and acceptance protocols.

The turnover was supported by an Invoice Receipt for Property, signed by authorized representatives of both institutions. The property was received on behalf of ASSCAT by College Registrar III Janice S. Dini-ay, while the transfer was authorized by the Office of the Solicitor General, represented by Solicitor General Darlene Marie B. Berberabe.

The newly turned-over bus is expected to strengthen the College’s operational capacity by supporting official travel, student-related activities, extension services, and other institutional functions across ASSCAT campuses and partner communities.
