BUNAWAN, Agusan del Sur — The Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) officially opened its 31st Paghimugso Charter Celebration at the Sports and Socio-Cultural Center, bringing together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and partners.

Under this year’s theme, “Three Decades and Beyond: Strengthening Academic Excellence, Governance, and Community Impact,” the celebration marks 31 years of service, growth, and community engagement.

The opening highlights included the sashing and presentation of Mr. and Ms. ASSCAT 2026 candidates, representing different colleges and drawing cheers from the crowd. As night fell, a dazzling fireworks display lit up the campus, signaling the start of a week full of events.

The day wrapped up with a Praise Festival, where the community came together in songs and prayers, lifting 31 years of blessings and milestones with gratitude.

Paghimugso 2026 continues with academic competitions, sports events, and cultural activities that bring the ASSCAT community together in learning, service, and camaraderie.
