The Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology, under the leadership of Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, has been recognized in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025—4th in Mindanao, 42nd in the Philippines, and 832nd worldwide!

The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings is a pioneering initiative, being the first and only ranking system that evaluates institutions based on their commitment to sustainability. The rankings assess universities and colleges across six essential criteria: Setting and Infrastructure, Energy and Climate Change, Waste Management, Water Management, Transportation, and Education.

This achievement is made possible through the unwavering support of our Vice Presidents, the leadership of Prof. Vivian C.
