Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) has successfully secured newly registered Utility Models from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), marking another milestone in the institution’s growing portfolio of protected innovations. 

Among the registered technologies are the Multi-Crop Slicing Machine by Stephen Jhon D. Gonzales; A Composition of Dry Noodles by Donessa Joy T. Peñaloga and Jose Valmorida; and the Automated Dispensing Device by Edlor E. Turtoga and Ryan L. Balbido.

These achievements not only secure exclusive rights over the inventions but also highlight the institution’s growing strength in producing practical, industry-ready technologies. From improving agricultural processing efficiency to developing innovative food products and automated systems, the registered Utility Models demonstrate ASSCAT’s commitment to solutions that directly benefit communities.

This achievement reinforces the importance of intellectual property awareness within the academic community. Through Utility Model registration, ASSCAT safeguards its innovations while opening pathways for partnerships and wider community impact, ensuring that research outputs translate into protected and practical solutions.
