Today, we recognize the dignity of work and the people who sustain it.

On this Labor Day, Agusan del Sur State University stands with Filipino workers whose labor continues to build communities, support families, and keep institutions moving, often under conditions that demand more than what is returned.

We acknowledge not only their contribution, but the realities many continue to face: rising costs of living, job insecurity, and the everyday balancing act between livelihood and well being.

As a state university, we remain committed to education that empowers, to research that responds, and to extension that reaches those who need it most, grounded in the belief that progress must be shared, and development must be inclusive.

May this day serve not only as recognition, but as a reminder of the work that still needs to be done.
