ADSSU: PALARO TU AGSUR
The Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU) Logo Design Competition has concluded with the selection of its top three winning entries from 104 submissions, bringing together diverse creative interpretations of the University’s identity and aspirations.
The competition was launched to engage the ADSSU community in developing ideas for the University’s official logo, welcoming original designs from students, faculty, and non-teaching personnel. Following the initial screening and evaluation, 56 entries advanced to the next stage of the selection process.
Taking the top spot was Entry #32 by Jefferson Viajar Casuco, who won 1st Place and received a cash prize of ₱20,000. Entry #88 by MJ U. Genotiva placed 2nd, earning ₱15,000, while Entry #77 by Joe Marie M. Opeña secured 3rd Place with a prize of ₱10,000.
Elements from the three winning designs were thoughtfully integrated to create the ADSSU logo, bringing together their distinct concepts into a cohesive visual identity that represents the University as one community.
Beyond the competition itself, the initiative provided members of the University community with an opportunity to contribute directly to an identity that represents ADSSU. The winning concepts reflected the participants’ creativity and understanding of the University’s character, direction, and aspirations.
ADSSU recognizes the contribution of all 104 participants whose ideas helped make the initiative a meaningful and collective effort toward shaping the University’s visual identity.
Congratulations to the winners and participants!
